I feel that the previous contents page did not look profesional enough and i have re organised to the page to as you can see on the left and i feel it looks a lot better. I have moved the image and made it larger as it links in with the page better as before i felt it looked out of place. I have also added a bar at the top and a small logo of the magazines name. Also i forgot on the first draft to add a page number and this has now been inserted. Also when i had finished the new design i had a small gap which i thought needed filling and i have added a circular button which will give a burst of information of what can be found inside.

This is the contents page that has had a small improvement made. As in the feedback i was told that the images used on the three products were quite repetetive i decide to show the performer on a different instrument and in a diferent angled shot which would make it look more profesional and lke a real photoshoot has took place where hundereds of diferent images from diferent angles have been took.

FrontCoverImprovement

This is the front cover after the imrovements. I changed the tone of the picture to make it look darker and i feel this has improved the sharpness of the image and makes it look more profesional. Also as i was told in my feedback that it looked quite basice i have added a bar to bar to the top and bottom of the page to add more info of what is in the magazine but it also makes it look more realistic and conventional. I got the ideas from the bars from other magazines which were similar to my genre.

Feedback

This is the feedback that i got from showing people in my class my 3 products. This was the front cover the contents page and a double page spread.

For the front cover i was told that it was quite plain and that a border along the bottom may be needed to make it look more profesional and convential. Also as the main picture is in black and white maybe more colour will needed to be addd to the page. Another factor was the limited amount of subheadings as the page looked quite plain.

The contents page had more praise than improvements allthough the image that have been used looks very similar although they are slightly different. Also the background is quite plain and these areas may be improved depending on the final appearence.

Aswell as the contents page the double page spread is quite basic but people have said that it looks very effective. The only problem could be that the page break may take away the view of the date of when the tour dates will be taking place. I will try to change this to make it more efficient but still effective.

This is the double page spread that i have created as a final product. It is quite basic but affective as it does the job that it needs of showing the tour dates. I got this idea from a Kasabian one which is featured earlier on in my posts.

This is the final product of the contents page with out any improvements. Obviously i feel there is room for improvement and hopefully my feedback will enable me to do this.
